Charles Devine founded the firm in 1992 in order to address the needs of his diverse clientele. Charlie’s aggressive litigation philosophy was developed through his experience as a trial team leader at the Boston insurance defense firm, McCormack & Epstein, and prior to that, as an associate attorney with the Boston firm of Epstein, King & Isselbacher.  Since creating Devine Barrows, LLP, Charlie’s practice has evolved from insurance defense to representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases, including complex litigation involving product liability, medical malpractice and catastrophic injuries cases.  He also litigates complex business disputes, class action cases and practices before all Massachusetts Courts and the United States District Court.  Charlie received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1981 and his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 1986.
