Mr. Maus is a Florida native practicing law in South Florida since 1993. He currently limits his practice to the areas of insurance related claims – personal injury and homeowner property damage claims and commercial litigation. Mr. Maus has tried over 60 jury trials to verdict and has litigated claims throughout Florida.

Mr. Maus graduated from the Nova Southeastern Law Center in 1993. He has successfully argued before the 3rd and 4th District Courts of Appeals, The United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. He is currently admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and all Florida State Courts.

Mr. Maus previously served as the Mayor of the City of Oakland Park. He is the former President of The Hundred Club of Broward County, a non-profit group that supports the families of police officers and firefighters killed or seriously injured in the line of duty. He was also recently honored by the Broward County School Board for his work with the Homeless Education Assistance Resource Team (HEART). He is a member of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute, and has sat on numerous committees for the Broward County Bar Association.
