Tom Anderson is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Anderson Law Offices, which he started in 2012. He is a native of Willmar and is the 5^th generation in his family to practice law in Minnesota. Tom traces his roots to his great-great-grandfather and namesake, Thomas Hessian, who was admitted to the Minnesota bar in 1877. As a boy, Tom worked summers on his mother’s family dairy farm in Wadena County. He later worked in his grandfather’s law firm in LeSueur, Minnesota. After college, Tom moved to Boston, where he briefly worked in IT consulting before entering the New England School of Law.

Tom’s breadth of legal experience includes numerous jury trials in criminal and civil courts. He has had great success litigating and settling wrongful death and personal injury cases.

Recently, Tom has taken on a more office-oriented practice focused on estate planning, probate, and real estate. In an age of extreme specialization, he takes pride in operating a general practice where he can assist clients with all their legal needs.

In his spare time, Tom is an avid outdoorsperson and is passionate about fly fishing, hunting, and conservation.
