Firm Summary

I am an accomplished trial lawyer focused on resolving personal injury cases. My focus over the last 30 years has been representing personal injury victims. After graduating from Southwestern Law School in May of 1983, I was admitted to the California State Bar in January of 1984. I founded my own practice in January of 1995 specializing in all matters of personal injury, which includes wrongful death, auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, slip and fall accidents, and dog bites. I have successfully represented accident victims in mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Whether my clients reside in the Greater Los Angeles area, Orange County, Riverside County, Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, or San Bernardino County, I strive to be accessible and responsive.

I have an established reputation within the legal community for achieving excellent results for my clients. I pay attention to each client’s case using my legal skills, experience, extensive knowledge of medical terminology, and most of all attention to detail.

Since I began my professional career, I have been an active member of my professional and philanthropic community. In 1996, I became involved in ProVisors, which is now a national networking organization that has grown from 300 trusted advisors to over 6,500 trusted advisors. I have been a Group Leader since 2004. ProVisors allows me to refer any client to a trusted professional across the country.

In addition, I have been a member of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the California Lawyers Association (formerly part of the State Bar of California) since 2004. I acted as an Executive Committee Member for my first four years after joining and then transitioned to an Advisor for 2 years. In September 2017, I was appointed, once again, to serve on the Executive Committee. I am now an officer and in 2022-2023 I will become the Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Section. Being active in State Bar provided me with the opportunity to speak at annual State Bar meetings and/or the Section Education Institute on such topics as handling a plaintiff’s case, law firm technology, legal ethics, and immigration issues in personal injury cases.

Finally, since 2011, I have actively raised money every year (except 2021) by running the Los Angeles marathon. I have run full and half marathons in support of Concern Foundation, a charity that raises funds for early cancer research. This is personal to me since my father died of brain cancer when I was 11 years old. One day, there will be a cure!
