Firm Summary

A Navy Man, Experienced Litigator, Great-Grandpa and Survivor are words that help encompass Mr. Jones and his 50+ years of law practice and life.

After clerking for a Federal Judge and during the time he was an NFL pro football scout, Mr. Jones started his legal career in the U.S. Navy. Although he had been admitted into the F.B.I., he was drafted to serve as a Navy J.A.G. (Judge Advocate General) Officer for military personnel and their families. Following Naval Justice Academy and Officer Training School in Rhode Island, Mr. Jones served as the Military Judge and Legal Officer for the Orlando Navy Base. At the conclusion of his 24 year military career, his military service spanned from the Vietnam Era through Operation Desert Storm. With great respect for all those persons that served in a military branch; it brings him great pride to be a Navy man and serve each client as he did his country with hard work and honor.

Mr. Jones has been an attorney 50+ years and had 1,000s of court appearances or trials. In addition to being a Military Judge, he has also served as a military prosecutor, criminal defense, property, estate and family law attorney. However, for longer than most attorneys have been alive, Mr. Jones has been practicing exclusively personal injury. He is one of the most successful, longest practicing litigators in Florida and tried everything from auto accident claims to wrongful death actions. He also handles medical malpractice claims, premise liability and numerous other forms of injury. If you are looking for an attorney with experience, compassion and  one with an A+ rating from his colleagues and former clients, Mr. Jones is happy to speak with you during a free consultation.

If you walk into his office, pictures of children, grand-children and great grand-children adorn his walls and shelves. Currently, Mr. Jones has three children, eight grand-children and two great grand-children. For decades he has been attending school programs, sporting events and the like. When you meet him, you’ll soon realize that he treats each new client, like family, and makes your well-being and situation a highest priority. He has navigated thousands of families through the legal system as well as represented them in pre-suit matters. Mr. Jones understands that legal matter can be tough on the family and applies his Faith and years of experience to help each family during their case.

Mr. Jones has seen adversity in his life. At the age of nine, his father was killed by a drunk driver. Being raised by a single mother forced the building blocks of hard work into his young life. His late father, a former school principal, had stressed the importance of education and now the young squire dove into his schooling and plans for a legal profession. His mission, to provide legal counsel to those injured from the intentional or accidental injury by another, just as he and his mother had experienced. Sixty years later, Mr. Jones would experience another great loss, but this one due to cancer. After 48 years of marriage, he lost the love of his life, Carolyn Jones. Mrs. Jones was his best friend, confident and soulmate. Although devastating, the loss has strengthened his faith and bolstered his passion to help others in need.
