Firm Summary

Over the course of my career as an attorney, my emphasis has been to treat each client as if they were a neighbor or family member in need. Whether the matter is related to business, personal injuries, injuries on the job or personal life needs such as a will or purchase of a home, I want the client to know that we have a personal interest in them. We meet with the client, get all the information we need and establish our goals for the client’s legal matter. We always strive to secure our client’s rights and the benefits that each client deserves.

The major portion of my private practice has been as a litigator in Delaware Superior Court and U.S. District Court. However, I have also maintained a general practice over the years, especially since establishing my own practice in 1998. I regularly litigate in Court of Common Pleas and Family Court, and I have also maintained a private criminal law practice, in which I have tried matters involving both misdemeanor and felony offenses in Family Court, Court of Common Pleas and Superior Court. In addition, my general practice has included litigation in Chancery Court, regarding probate and land use disputes. I have also represented both appellants and appellees in the Delaware Supreme Court, and I am familiar with appellate procedure.

My practice also involves a transactional component, in the areas of residential real estate, small business organization and estate planning. I have managed my own practice since 1998, and given the nature of the practice, my staff and I have been quick to use new technology to efficiently organize the caseload to provide quality service to clients, regardless of the nature or origin of their matters.
