In 1999, Ed began his litigation career with Frost Brown Todd, LLC, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the Louisville area. Ed routinely was selected to assist in large-scale document collection, coding and production projects in products liability cases.
In 2002, Ed moved to Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC, another prestigious regional law firm, to concentrate heavily on commercial litigation. Ed focused his practice on complex accounting, contract and trade secret issues. In addition, he continued to represent builders, contractors, subcontractors and homeowners in construction related disputes. Ed also represented creditors and debtors in adversary proceedings in bankruptcy. He coordinated and conducted a nationwide collection of documents and witness interviews in asbestos-premises liability litigation for one of the world’s largest manufacturers of consumer goods. He has successfully arbitrated and mediated numerous cases.
On January 1, 2011, Ed founded the Skees Law Office to put his background and experience representing corporations and insurance companies to use helping individuals and families recover damages for the injuries they suffered as a result of the negligence or intentional acts of others.
