Ryan began his career as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the King County Prosecutor’s Office in downtown Seattle where he served on both the Felony Trial Unit and District Court Unit prosecuting some of Seattle’s worst criminals. If the courthouse was open, Ryan was there. During his time as a prosecutor, Ryan appeared for the State of Washington in a number of high profile hearings televised on local and national media for numerous crimes including vehicular homicides, extreme risk protection orders, murders, and assaults. It was at the Prosecutor’s Office where Ryan found his love for helping people who had been injured.  

​After leaving King County Prosecutor’s Office, Ryan began his civil practice as a personal injury attorney with one of the region’s top personal injury law firms where he represented hundreds of clients and recovered millions of dollars, including judgements as high as $2.1 million dollars, and more than 30 settlements over $100,000.00 for rear end, parking lot, highway, and local roadway crashes.

​Ryan is a native of the Pacific Northwest. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School, and his undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Hallie, and taking his dog Bowie for long hikes.
