Ms. Khanuja previously worked at the largest California workers’ compensation defense firm in the state and a local Applicant’s attorney firm. For the injured worker, Ms. Khanuja has successfully secured six-digit settlements.

On behalf of the defendants, she has won “take nothing” Awards at Trial and reached settlements for 0% permanent disability via Stipulated Award.

Additionally, Ms. Khanuja has vast experience in resolving liens of record, resulting in a withdrawal of the outstanding balance of the lien.

In Labor and Employment Law, Ms. Khanuja is a dedicated advocate for aggrieved employees with workplace violations under state and federal wage and hour laws and discrimination, harassment and/or retaliation claims under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act. As a Board Member, she is involved in awarding college scholarships and providing financial support for SAT/ACT preparation courses to students who are motivated to pursue higher education.

To date, 5 Rivers Foundation has awarded over 100 scholarships and provided SAT/ACT preparation courses to over 173 students nationwide.
