Rod Galarza is an attorney licensed to practice law in Arizona, New Jersey, and Texas. Mr. Galarza was born and raised in Hoboken, New Jersey. He served overseas in the United States Marine Corps as a guard at U.S. Embassies in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Brasilia, Brazil from 1985-1990.

After his tour of duty in the Marines, Mr. Galarza earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey in 1995. Later, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1999 after working full-time for Prudential Investments and going to law school at night.

Since moving to Arizona, Mr. Galarza clerked for The Honorable Robert D. Myers in the Superior Court of Arizona and served as an Assistant Prosecutor for the City of Phoenix, where he served as lead counsel in more than 100 jury trials. He has been in private practice since 2005 and has represented thousands of homeowners in large construction defects matters against builders and developers in Arizona. He also represents clients in a number of other areas, including Alternate Dispute Resolution, Commercial and Business Litigation, Construction Defects Litigation, Criminal Defense-DUI, Employment Law, Family Law, General Civil Litigation, Homeowners’ Association Disputes, and Landlord-Tenant matters.

Mr. Galarza is active in the bar community, having served as a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association Board of Directors, the Maricopa County Bar Foundation Board of Trustees, and the Thurgood Marshall Inn of Court. He currently serves as a member of the Supreme Court of Arizona Committee on Examinations, which administers and grades the Arizona Bar Exam.

In his spare time, Mr. Galarza travels, plays golf, and rides motorcycles.​
