As a member of ABOTA, the American Board of Trial Advocates, and faculty member of the ABOTA Trial School, Mr. Dunbar teaches young lawyers how to hone their skills in the courtroom.  Successfully conducting scores of jury trials, exceeding the organization’s rigorous membership qualifications, Mr. Dunbar additionally serves as an arbitrator and mediator for the Los Angeles County Superior Court.  Designated Super Lawyer in the field of Personal Injury-Defense, Mr. Dunbar is recognized among America’s Top 1% of Medical Malpractice lawyers with a sub-specialty in Pharmacy Malpractice, continually the recipient of an A-V rating by his peers in Martindale & Hubbell.  Recently, the Daily Journal recognized Mr. Dunbar’s defense of a retail pharmacy stemming from a medication error as one of California’s Top Ten Defense Verdicts.

Mr. Dunbar is licensed to practice in all Courts within the State of California as well as the Central, Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of the United States District Court for California.  Additionally, he has authored numerous articles for local and national legal publications and is a guest lecturer on the subject of civil litigation, insurance law, and trial practice & procedure.
