Firm Summary

Attorney Hal Whiteman has earned a national reputation for achieving exceptional results on behalf of injured workers, accident victims, and their families.  His clients come from all walks of life and occupations but share the same strong desire to return to normalcy after a tragic and unexpected event.

During the early days of his practice, Hal represented insurance companies and claims agencies.  It was during this time that he gained in depth knowledge of the strategies they use to assess and defend claims.  Today, he puts that knowledge, along with his unwavering commitment to obtaining justice, to work for clients across the state of Georgia.  And his work and dedication have not gone unnoticed.

Hal holds a perfect 10/10 rating from AVVO, has been named to Thomson Reuters’ list of Super Lawyers for four consecutive years, and has been AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell for more than two decades.   He is also a sought after speaker on topics related to workers’ compensation and injury law, having presented for the Georgia Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Atlanta Bar Association, and Insurance Law Institute.

A native Atlantan, Hal received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia before earning his juris doctorate from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law.  He has served on the Board of Directors of the Sandy Springs Bar Association since 2005 and is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia Workers’ Compensation Section and Litigation Sections.

When not practicing law, Hal enjoys volunteering with several community organizations, including Habitat for Humanity. Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church,  and Heritage Sandy Springs, and spending time with his wife and three dogs.
