Candace Dale was born and raised in Northern Minnesota; the town of Embarrass to be exact. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Social Work before realizing she could help people in crisis even more with a law degree. Candace graduated with special honors from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1986. There was never any doubt in her mind that she would represent “people in need.” Her down-to-earth communication style and trial skills were honed during her 20 year career at the Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben law firm. After many years working for the downtown Minneapolis law firm, she opened her own firm in Mendota Heights. Over the past 35 years she has represented thousands of clients. She has steered her clients successfully through the confusing arena of insurance claims. Her goal is always the “best interests of the client”. Her skill as a trial lawyer is well known and respected in the Minnesota legal community.
Glass ceilings are meant to be shattered. Candace Dale has always been dedicated to her community and public service, even at a time when female trial lawyers were underrepresented. In 1993 she was certified as a Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association. She continues her certification today; 28 years later. Candace was nationally certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy from 1999 until 2019. When she was initially certified, she was one of only eight women in Minnesota to receive this honor. When she left the organization in 2019 she was 1 of only 3 women certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Minnesota. She continues to build her legacy as one of the most trusted legal experts in her field. Candace L. Dale has proved over and over again that she was not only a good female lawyer, she was just a damn good lawyer.
