Interesting Facts: Mr. Silver grew up just outside the northern border of Chicago, and knows the city like the back of his hand. He is an avid sports fan of all Chicago teams, especially the Chicago Cubs. Before retiring from active competition, Mr. Silver’s favorite hobby was fundraising through Olympic-distance triathlons spanning over ten years, generating over $100,000 in donations to various charities. In his lifetime, he has competed in approximately 80 triathlons. Nowadays, in his spare time, he enjoys swimming and biking with his wife of over 35 years and spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren.
