Firm Summary

My parents always told me while growing up that I had a keen sense of justice and fairness, even when I was a young child on the playground in kindergarten. Recognizing the empathy I showed toward those around me, my parents encouraged me to seek out a role in life in which I could always help others in need like they did in the medical profession as a doctor and a nurse.

I followed this path to journalism school at the University of Georgia and Mercer University School of Law, and since then I’ve used my skills and experience to help my clients in their greatest times of need when they faced unreasonable and overbearing prosecution by the state or when they were trying to put their lives back together after an injury caused by someone else’s negligence. I’ve worked as a Public Defender, an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia, and as a civil litigator in private practice.

I take pride in listening to my clients and maintaining an open line of communication with them at all times. I work tirelessly on their behalf, and I think outside the box to make sure they get the best results possible. My clients are like my patients: I never give up on them and I’ll do whatever it takes to help them get back to their normal lives.

My wife Mary Logan, a journalist, and I live in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood with our dog, Lettie. We’re both proud native Atlantans. When we’re not busy at work writing or in court, we both enjoy playing with Lettie and dreaming of living on a farm and climbing trees.
