After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with his Bachelor of Business Administration, Mr. Kidd attended South Texas College of Law–Houston. During his studies there, he was inducted into the Order of the Lytae, a prestigious legal honor society, and the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. He achieved the Dean’s List each semester, was the Vanderbilt Invitational Moot Court Champion, and graduated with his Juris Doctorate summa cum laude in 1991.

In addition to being licensed to practice law in Texas and New Mexico state courts, Mr. Kidd is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He has also appeared pro hac vice before state courts in California and Missouri.

Mr. Kidd first practiced law at Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP in Houston as an associate representing defendants in personal injury and products liability cases. After five years, Mr. Kidd decided to devote his talents to representing personal injury victims and became a Senior Trial Lawyer at a large plaintiff’s personal injury law firm. Eleven years later, Mr. Kidd joined with Jim Perdue, Jr. to found PERDUE & KIDD, a law firm dedicated to pursuing justice for personal injury victims and businesses who have been harmed by the negligence of others. Mr. Kidd represents clients in cases arising from car crashes, truck wrecks, workplace fires and explosions, and defective products, among others.
