He is an active member of the National Bar Association where he has served as a Board Member for the Young Lawyer’s Division. Mr. Barnes was also a Board Member of the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Florida Justice Association. He is also an active member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and past President of F. Malcolm Cunningham, Sr. Bar Association. Mr. Barnes has also been recognized as a Rising Star and Top Up and Coming Lawyer by Florida Trend and Legal Elite Magazines for the past four years.
