Edwin’s passion for the law began as he worked at the Superior Court and observed countless people unable to effectively fight for their rights, lost in a complicated and intimidating justice system. He had the fortune of working directly in the courtroom as a Court Attendant and Court Clerk, observing over 100 trials under several judges.

Edwin has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, graduating summa cum laude from Arizona State University. He enrolled as a part-time evening student with the Western State College of Law, where he was accepted with a full scholarship. Throughout law school, Edwin worked as a certified law clerk during the day, attending classes in the evening and maintaining the number-one rank in his class. He also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Western State Law Review, a member of the Deans’ Circle and Distinguished Honor Roll, and has earned a Certificate of Distinguished Public Service through his dedication to giving back to the community.

Outside of the office, Edwin enjoys spending time with his much better looking wife, chasing around his adorable daughter, devouring California burritos, and catching up on the latest issues of Justice League.
