Firm Summary
All his life, Fred S. Peters has been an advocate for those in his community whose voices deserve to be heard. After an undergraduate and high school experience marked by student activism and community outreach, as an early leader of the fight for gay rights and equality in public school settings and in society at large, Fred attended law school in Boston, graduating with his Juris Doctor degree in 2008, with four semesters of Dean’s List honors. For more than 15 years now, Fred S. Peters has dedicated his professional life to providing competent, dedicated, compassionate, and principled representation to clients throughout Southern California. Fred founded and is the managing partner of Unity Law Group, a firm emphasizing cases in the areas of personal injury, employment law, education law, and probate litigation. Unity Law Group was founded on the set of ideals and principles that guided the firm’s founder through his hard-fought battles in the name of equality and respect. Those ideals continue to inspire the firm’s work on behalf of disabled students, injured plaintiffs, heirs and beneficiaries, and any client who requires a dedicated and passionate advocate to tell their story, amplify their voice, and unite them with their rightful future.
Fred S. Peters is a litigation attorney, whose public speaking ability has been developed and sharpened by speaking engagements all ove the United States over the past 25 years. He also worked for more than 5 years for a defense firm, where he learned the ways in which defense attorneys, insurance companies, and at-fault parties evaluate evidence, analyze cases, and ultimately, decide whether to pay up or fight. He brings this experience into his practice, where his skillful and comprehensive approach to civil litigation has inspired a shared vision for the members of the Unity Law Group legal team to follow as they advocate for their clients’ interests, for as long as it takes until an equitable and fair result is achieved.
Fred S. Peters has been a volunteer coach of youth sports for more than 20 years, and works with the Orange County, California Mock Trial Program (coordinated by Teach Democracy, formerly the Constitutional Rights Foundation of Orange County), as a volunteer scoring attorney for their competition season. In college, Peters co-founded a charitable organization focused on student-initiated political and social activism on college campuses, alongside the man who eventually coined the phrase “Occupy Wall Street.” Fred has always strove to make his mark on the world around him, and positively impact the lives of those he meets and works with; his record of lifelong advocacy and compassion has brought him and Unity Law Group into the present with a willingness to take on any adversary with confidence and zeal.
