During his career he has practiced as associate general counsel for a major rent-a-car corporation, litigating both plaintiff and defense matters on the corporation’s behalf, as well as providing advice and counsel on employment defense, human resources, vehicle damage claims and collections, self-insured defense, and Graves Amendment liability. He has also defended a number of cases involving alleged personal liability of federal employees barred by the Federal Tort Claims Act, and has successfully resolved these matters while preventing any liability. Gregory spent two years working at a well- known plaintiff personal injury firm where he successfully recovered over $2,000,000 per year on behalf of injured clients; thus, he is well educated in how Plaintiffs’ attorneys value files and obtain lien reductions. While in-house counsel, he obtained over $458,000 in various judgment collections both internationally and abroad. He has collected on Nevada Judgment’s in Japan, Germany, and Australia. He has spent considerable time both advising risk management professionals and executives as well as deposing them in premises liability matters. As a former in-house counsel responsible for Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation compliance, he is skilled at prosecuting, defending, and advising clients regarding compliance in trucking and passenger motor carrier matters.

Gregory has extensive experience dealing with insurance issues and represents developers, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, corporations, executives, in prosecuting and defending monies owed, breaches of contract, negligence and general liability, negligent maintenance, construction, design, fabrication, installation, and implementation matters. He has experience prosecuting and defending casinos, hotels, pools, bars, and individuals in negligence and other liability cases.

Regarding commercial litigation, Gregory represents all types of businesses in commercial disputes including contract claims, leases, and business torts. He regularly handles disputes between owners, landlords and tenants, and has even donated his time to handling pro bono eviction proceedings and other matters for lower income individuals in need.

Gregory has handled a variety of complex engagements involving construction, concert venues, festivals, pool and spa facilities, hotels and casinos, security incidents, nuisance, intrusion upon seclusion, general liability, negligence construction zone design and implementation, city and county liability, vicarious liability and respondeat superior, intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy, and product liability matters. He has been involved in various lawsuits involving commercial and residential realty purchases, commercial and residential realtor commission disputes, fraudulent conveyance of funds and property allegations, and even lawsuits involving the purchasing or leasing of vehicles. He has defended and prosecuted many first-party and third-party bad faith/negligence/breach of contract matters involving insurance carriers and self-insured entities. He defends, and has experience prosecuting claims against, insurance carriers in Nevada for alleged violations of the Nevada Unfair Claims Practices Act.

In his free time, Gregory enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, road biking, riding his Harley Davidson, and spending time with his wife Lana and their dogs. He volunteers his time with the Southern Nevada Climbers’ Coalition, Southern Nevada Mountain Bike Association, and can be found performing both volunteer trail maintenance at Red Rock or even representing local non- profit groups before the County Commission, City of Las Vegas planning meetings, or other government entities. He frequently helps local rock climbers of lower income status with legal matters. In the past, Gregory has lived in Yosemite National Park, has lived on a sailboat somewhere in the Caribbean, and has enjoyed traveling to climb, ride, sail, backcountry ski, and fly fish.
