Mr. McCarthy has been lead trial counsel representing individuals in personal injury cases for over 30 years. He has won jury verdicts in medical negligence cases in many different areas of medicine; including obstetrics, gynecology, emergency medicine, family practice, orthopedics, urology, and general surgery.

Mr. McCarthy is a 1987 graduate of the University of Maryland. He received his law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1993. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, and The Pennsylvania Association for Justice. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. McCarthy has a long history of giving back to the community. Mr. McCarthy has been actively involved in youth sports. He is the past president of the Lower Perkiomen Valley Longhorns Football and Cheerleading Association of Pop Warner. He is a former member of the board of directors of the Lower Perkiomen Little League. He also coached basketball at Spring-Ford Youth Basketball League.
