Firm Summary

I became an Attorney because I want to help people – simple as that.  Living in today’s society can be complicated, and unfortunately sometimes bad things happen to people. Fortunately, we have a legal system that provides remedy for those who have suffered a loss or harm at the hands of others.   That’s where I come in – I am here to help.

I was a Freshman in college when the attacks on September 11, 2001, occurred.  I remember there being a lot of confusion and uncertainty at what was going to happen from that point on.  However, the thing I was certain about was that I had to do something.  So I left school not too long after, and joined the Marine Corps.  After a tour in Iraq, and 6 years of service, I left the Marine Corps as a Sergeant and headed back to college to finish my education.  At this point the future was more clear to me, I had to figure out a way to continue being of service to those in need.

So with my military obligations and my college education complete, I moved out to San Diego to attend law school at Thomas Jefferson School of Law.  There I studied law with some of the brightest minds I’ve met, under some of the greatest mentors I’ve had, and fell deeply in love with this city and state I now call home.  After graduating I worked in corporate construction defect litigation.  While I learned a lot, I felt I could be doing more to help people in need than just defending corporations.  From there I started working for a small personal injury practice.  After several years, and hundreds of cases, I decided to expand my practice to help others, in addition to those who have been injured.  I am a member of various Bar Associations including San Diego County Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego.

When I am not helping others, you can find me spending time with my wife Sara, daughter Charlotte, and my dogs.  We just started our family here in San Diego, and we could not be happier.  We love to travel and experience other cultures, especially their cuisines, when we can.  I try to remain as active as I can and still manage, and play for, a men’s soccer team here in San Diego.  I also love to ski, backpack, camp, and surf when I have time.  I look forward to getting to know you, and helping you out in anyway way I can.
