Jim graduated from William Mitchell College of Law and is an experienced attorney and counselor with over 1,200 court appearances: trials, motions, arbitrations, and mediations. He opened the doors to Young Law in 2004 after gaining experience in Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense (including being Olmsted County Public Defender), Business Law, Personal Injury, and Insurance Defense at firms throughout the Minneapolis metropolitan area. At Young Law, Jim represented large insurance companies for a number of years before deciding to help individuals. He is a natural strategist and diligent advocate who believes in providing fair representation while involving his clients in every step of the process. Outside of law, Jim’s passions include family, dogs, fishing, music, and baseball. He enjoys volunteer baseball coaching with his son, Andrew, and legal assistant, Ethan.

Ethan has worked at Young Law for over 7 years. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Finance & Risk Management Insurance. Ethan is passionate about finding solutions to problems and working closely with clients to deliver the results they require.
