John D. Andreopoulos was raised in Pinellas County, FL. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida, having earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminology in 1995. After completing his undergraduate work, he attended Stetson University College of Law. There, he excelled in his studies and graduated with honors in the top 10% of his class in 1999. During his days as a law student, he earned the distinction of serving as a Judicial Intern for a U.S. Federal Magistrate Judge.

John began his career in the Pinellas County State Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor. His participation in dozens of jury trials helped hone his litigation skills and he gained substantial experience across a broad spectrum of legal cases. During his tenure with the Pinellas County State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Andreopoulos was promoted to Lead Trial Attorney for a misdemeanor division and later appointed to the DUI Manslaughter Unit. In addition to his work with the State Attorney’s Office for the county, he served at the St. Petersburg College Police Academy as an Adjunct Professor.
