He began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable James Lawrence King, in the United States District Court. He then acquired five years of insurance defense experience at Huebner, Shaw, Bunnell and later Marlow, Shofi and Ortmayer. After leaving Marlow, Shofi and Ortmayer, Mr. Ostrow opened his own practice.

Mr. Ostrow has extensive experience as a trial attorney, specifically in the areas of Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury and Intellectual Property.  He is also a certified Mediator.

Mr. Ostrow was the former Chairman of the Florida Board of Bar Examiners and served on the Florida Board of Bar Examiners for seven years. He was a member of the Florida Bar Intellectual Property Specialty Certification Committee and the Florida Bar Rules of Civil Procedure committee.
