My mentor, Joseph B. Lee, was a distinguished accountant who imparted in me an early understanding of the IRS. My father and sister were also attorneys in Tacoma, Washington, and their guidance inspired me to pursue a career in law.

I attended Seattle University School of Law in 1985, where I focused on Federal Tax Law. Three years later, I graduated and began my practice at Sterbick, Abel, & Sterbick.

As a tax attorney, I realized that many of my clients’ tax debts could be resolved through bankruptcy. In 2009, I began to specialize in bankruptcy law and have since discharged millions of dollars of IRS debt for my clients.

My legal practice is not limited to the state of Washington. I am admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, the United States District Court, and the Washington State Superior Court.

In addition to my practice, I am an active member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association and the Washington State Bar Association. My involvement in these organizations allows me to stay up-to-date on legal trends and further enhance my legal knowledge and skills.

Outside of work, I am happily married and a proud father of wonderful children. I cherish spending time with my family, and in my spare time, I indulge in my passions for ballroom dancing and golf.
