Jorge C. Born in Havana, Cuba, Jorge Borron immigrated to the United States in 1968. Jorge attended Florida International University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree.  He later attended Ohio Northern College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor.  In 1987, Jorge was admitted to the Florida Bar and to the Federal Bar for the Southern District of Florida.

Jorge begin his career at a small firm where his main focus was commercial and personal injury law.  He then joined an insurance defense firm, which allowed him to gain experience as a defense attorney.  In 1994, Jorge helped form Alvarez, Armas & Borron, P.A.  His practice there focused on representing plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and property insurance related litigation.  In 2013, Jorge started his own firm as a sole practitioner, where he continued to practice in the above mentioned areas, but expanded significantly in property insurance related litigation.
