Karen E. Klein is an associate attorney at Moore-Biser. Before joining Moore-Biser, Karen practiced law at defense firms in Huntington and Charleston, West Virginia. Prior to law school, she worked in mass media for 12 years at the Charleston Daily Mail, Burlington (Mass.) Union, and The Detroit News newspapers, and as a freelance writer for a national trade industry magazine publisher.
Karen earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington (now known as Indiana University Maurer School of Law), where she was senior managing editor of the Federal Communications Law Journal from 2002 to 2003. She also served as law clerk to the Honorable Douglas R. Bridges of Monroe County, Indiana, and the IU Student Representative to the ABA. Karen received both Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in journalism from Marshall University’s W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
