Keith L. Lindsay is a member of Edmond & Lindsay, LLP where he joins Roderick Edmond, M.D., and William Atkins as a partner in the Atlanta law firm dedicated to protecting the rights of injured plaintiffs and their families.

A native of Boston, MA, Mr. Lindsay relocated to Atlanta with his family in 1975. After graduating from Dartmouth College in 1981, he returned to Atlanta and attended Emory University School of Law, where he obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree.

Mr. Lindsay focuses his litigation practice in the areas of medical malpractice, commercial motor vehicle and tractor-trailer collisions, premises liability, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death and general civil litigation. He gained trial and litigation experience immediately after completing law school, serving as an Assistant District Attorney with the Fulton County District Attorney’s office, from 1986-1990, during which time he prosecuted several hundred felony cases.

In 1990, he joined a prominent Atlanta defense firm, where he practiced for the next fourteen years, representing insurance companies, as well as their individual and corporate insureds against personal injury claims and lawsuits stemming from trucking collisions, motor vehicle collisions, false arrest / malicious prosecution, defective premises, construction defects and a variety of other types of claims, ultimately becoming a partner in the firm. During this time he had the opportunity to speak to various groups regarding litigation and insurance issues, and was published regarding liability issues in the transportation industry, as well as the use of use of neuropsychological testimony to establish or combat claims of brain trauma.

In 2002, Lindsay received an AV Preeminent peer review rating, the highest available rating, from Martindale Hubbell, the premier organization that provides ratings and contact information for attorneys throughout the world, a rating he continues to hold.

In January 2005, he joined Dr. Edmond’s practice, having elected to dedicate his experience, time and efforts to representing individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries due to the negligence or willful misconduct of others, and family members of those who, due to the negligent or willful acts or omissions of others, have suffered a loss of life.

Mr. Lindsay was recognized as SuperLawyer by his peers for 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Mr. Lindsay is licensed to practice in the following courts: Georgia State, and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is an active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, The Gate City Bar Association, The National Bar Association and American Association for Justice.

His published opinions include: Johnson v. Omondi, 284 Ga. 74 (2013); Jackson v. Post Properties, 236 Ga. App. 701 ( 1999), and Rooks v. Tenet Healthsystem GB, 292 Ga. App 477 (2008).
