Ken graduated summa cum laude from Western Illinois University in 1988, where he was first-team Academic All-American in soccer. He then graduated with high honors from the University of Texas School of Law. Ken was a chancellor-at-large and member of the Texas Law Review.

Mr. Dugan began his practice in Dallas in 1991, with the prestigious firm of Strasburger and Price. Mr. Dugan married Jeni Martin in 2000. He then moved to Carlsbad in 2006 to join the family firm of Martin, Dugan and Martin. Mr. Dugan represents local businesses and individuals in many different practice areas, including real estate, oil and gas development, and commercial transactions. Ken handles personal injury, accident and medical malpractice cases.

Ken spends most of his personal time with his four lovely children and wife, Jeni. Ken has coached his children and other youth in Carlsbad for years in various sports. You may have heard Ken from the sidelines on the soccer fields or basketball courts around town. Ken has also taught various Sunday School classes and continues to try to place the Lord first in all he does.
