Lacie brings extensive trial experience and a diverse background of legal experience to Brewe Layman, P.S.
After completing her bachelor’s degree at Columbia University in New York City, Lacie returned to the Pacific Northwest and earned her law degree from the University of Oregon in 2010. She worked as a prosecutor in Oregon where she gained significant trial experience handling crimes ranging from minor offenses to murder. In 2016, Lacie returned home to Washington. Her practice includes family law, personal injury, and select criminal matters.
Lacie provides her clients with confident advocacy through all aspects of family law, including dissolutions, property division, spousal maintenance, child support, relocation, and parentage. Lacie is also experienced in issues that complicate family separations such as protection orders, child abduction, domestic violence, and the overlap between criminal cases and family law issues.
For personal injury clients, Lacie provides a balanced assessment of potential claims based on her experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. She helps clients navigate the challenges of working with insurance companies and achieving the best results for their case.
Lacie serves as an arbitrator in King, Snohomish, and Skagit Counties, as well as a judge pro tempore for Snohomish County District Court.
When not representing clients, Lacie enjoys exploring the beautiful pacific northwest backroads on her motorcycle. She lives in Everett with her wife and two children.
