Mr. Shapiro’s practice throughout his 25 years has been focused on civil litigation, with an emphasis in real estate and personal injury, including cases involving mold, habitability, landslides, and catastrophic personal injury.

Mr. Shapiro also often serves as cumis counsel to clients with significant personal exposure. He has tried over 30 jury trials to verdict, as well as over 20 bench trials, and has received defense verdicts in a large percentage of his trials.

In addition, Mr Shapiro also has an extensive appellate background, having handled dozens of appeals, including creating a new doctrine in real estate law, the equitable easement, in the published opinion of Hirshfield v. Schwartz.
