Firm Summary

Mark Wolin is a trial attorney with more than 35 years’ experience in the state and federal courts of South Florida.  Prior to practicing law, he was an award-winning television investigative reporter.

He has brought to trial or successfully resolved through settlement hundreds of cases throughout Florida, including automobile accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, bus accidents, pedestrian accidents, bicycle accidents, falls, medical and dental malpractice, products liability, elder neglect and abuse, injuries from crimes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, burn injuries and wrongful death.

He is the former legal editor of Channel 7’s Live at Five, and was, for 15 years, while also representing injured plaintiffs, an insurance defense attorney.  In  that capacity, he learned how insurance companies work from the inside, and he puts that knowledge to work for his clients.

Mark holds a Juris Doctorate from the DePaul University College of Law, Chicago, and a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in journalism  from the Medill School of Journalism,  Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.

He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme  Court and the state and federal courfts of Florida and Illinois.  He has served on the board of directors of the Miami-Dade Trial Lawyers Association, now known as the Miami-Dade Justice Association, and as vice chairman for public relations or the Miami-Dade County Bar Association.

Committed  to community, Mark has served on the boards of directors of charitable, civic and cultural organizations in Miami-Dade and Broward  County including Broward  Crimestoppers, the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, the Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce,  North Miami Foundation for Senior Citizens, the Papanicolou Comprehensive Cancer Center,  the City of North  Miami  Business Development Board, and the City of North Miami  Community Redevelopment Agency Citizens’ Advisory Board.

Mark is bilingual in English and Spanish. Born in Chicago, he has lived in Florida since 1978. Off hours, Mark loves playing classical and jazz piano, and enjoys gourmet cooking for friends and family.
