Michael has a degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a J.D. from Southwestern Law School. At Southwestern, Michael was awarded the CALI and Witkin awards for academic excellence. Michael was also awarded the Wildman/Schumacher scholarship. While at Southwestern Law School, Michael was the president and founder of the Tort Litigation Society.

Michael broadened his academic experience by externing at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in their major crimes division. Concurrently, Michael began working part-time at the Law Offices of Lee C. Arter for two years prior to passing the California bar exam. In his spare time, Michael enjoys outdoor activities, attending sporting events, and reading fiction.
