Attorney Michael P. Perry is the Managing Partner of O’Malley, Harris, Durkin and Perry, P.C. Mr. Perry has successfully tried and/or settled hundreds of cases at the state and federal level and is well-versed in virtually every specialty of complex medical malpractice litigation.
Born and raised in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, He received his B.A. in Political Science from Kutztown State University, magna cum laude, in 1979, and his J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law in 1982 and was admitted to the Bar that same year. He was also a designated member of the Corpus Juris Society in 1982. Mr. Perry began his legal career as an Associate Attorney at OHDP in 1982, was named a Partner in 1986 and Managing Partner in 1999.
In 1990, Mr. Perry was named a certified member of The National Board of Trial Advocacy. In order to obtain this certification, lawyers must be qualified to try cases before juries and judges in state and federal courts. They must also be deemed to be highly competent in resolving disputes before lawsuits are filed, handling mediations and arbitrations.
Mr. Perry was selected by Philadelphia Magazine as a “Super Lawyer” in 2013 and was named a life member of the National Registry of Who’s Who in 2001. He has been a law instructor at a local college, a solicitor for a nearby municipality and a hearing master for a local school district.
