Michael Wilson is a 1975 graduate of Russell High School, received his B.S.in Accounting from the University of Kentucky in 1979, and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1982. He has been a member of the Kentucky Bar Association since October 1982, and has maintained a private law practice in Greenup County since then. He has served as the Greenup County Atty since 1989 to the present. He is a former member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 181, is a member of Smith Lodge 775, Bridges Christian Church, and holds an honorary membership in the Oak Street All-Stars. He has run more laps at the Russell High School track than any other, and has never crossed picket line. He is the son of the late Barbara and Bud Wilson, and is a brother to Bill Wilson and Missy Roberts. Together, with his wife Jo Ellen, they have two children, Lindsay and Rob.
