Mr. Forrester is the founding member of the firm Perrotta, Fraser & Forrester, LLC. He has practiced in a wide range of areas after being admitted to the bar in 1990. He also worked as a law clerk for the venerable Essex County law firm of Lum, Danzis, Drasco, Positan & Kleinberg, LLC prior to establishing his present firm.
Mr. Forrester was a member and barrister with the Seton Hall Inn of Court. He has been a member of the American Bar Association; American Bar Association Litigation Section; New Jersey State Bar Association and the Construction Law Section where he assisted in authoring an ICLE program on Public Bidding; and is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association now known as the New Jersey Association for Justice. He won election to his local school board and has served as President of his community’s Board of Education.
In the area of personal injury litigation, Mr. Forrester was responsible for the representation of a paraplegic involved in a construction site accident which resulted in a settlement valued at over $8.5 million, the seventh-highest settlement in the state of New Jersey for that year; he is experienced in plaintiffs’ product liability litigation, state and federal Tort Claims Act litigation, automobile accident litigation including UM and UIM claims, declaratory judgment actions, and workers compensation. He has many multi-million dollar case resolutions to his credit in the area of personal injury.
Mr. Forrester’s experience also includes representation of: executor’s and beneficiaries in estate litigation, will contests and actions for accountings; general contractors in suits against owners for contract balance and retainer with defense of liquidated damage assessments; representation of low bidders and contracting agents in Public Contract Law disputes; and bonding companies concerning the interpretation of a liquidated damages provision.
His community involvement includes membership in his local Elks and the parish of St. Catharine/St. Margaret. He is also is a member of the St. Peter’s Preparatory School Athletic Advisory Board.
Mr. Forrester and his wife, Deborah, are the proud parents of four children, Michael Liam, Kelly Catherine, Riley Danielle and Danni Erin.
