Southern Med Law is pleased to welcome trial attorney Odeh J. Issis as the newest member of the Firm’s General Litigation Group. Attorney Issis has gained vast experience representing plaintiffs from around the country in mass tort litigations, including those involving IVC Filters, Essure birth control and power morcellators. As a member of Southern Med Law’s General Litigation Group, his practice will focus on complex matters involving medical malpractice, medical devices and personal injury. In addition, Attorney Issis represents clients in non-medical matters, ranging from products liability involving power tools to alternative dispute resolution involving international businesses.

“In connection with his mass tort experience, Odeh has represented clients from all over the United States. He will be a valuable addition to our practice, as we work to protect the rights of those injured due to the negligence of others,” says Dr. François Blaudeau, the founder of Southern Med Law.

Mr. Issis graduated cum laude from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University, where he also counseled elderly individuals through the school’s Elder Law Clinic. Before attending law school, he earned a B.S. at the University of Alabama, Culverhouse College of Commerce. Mr. Issis is admitted to practice law in Alabama’s state and federal courts, as well as the Federal Multi-District Litigation. He also holds memberships in:

• Alabama State Bar and the Birmingham Bar Association
