A SKILLED ARIZONA ATTORNEY—Part of Rachel’s extensive experience includes serving as a judge pro tem since 2002 where she’s presided over high-profile and complex cases involving litigation that requires specialized legal knowledge. She has served as a judge pro tem for trial courts and appellate court panels alike. She’s a breath of fresh air with her original approach and intense focus on solutions. Rachel has demonstrated her abilities in several courts, including tribal, city and state courts. This gives Rachel a 360-degree eye for cases—she has the mind of a skilled attorney, the perspective of a judge and a heart for her clients.

SERVING THE COMMUNITY—Rachel is also recognized among an elite group of attorneys and devotes her free time by volunteering with various organizations within the community. The Volunteer Lawyers Program and the Arizona State Bar are just a few of the many organizations where Rachel has volunteered her time providing free legal assistance, advice or representation to those who are impacted by poverty. As a member of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers, the Arizona Women Lawyers’ Association, and the Arizona Black Bar Rachel continues to serve others. Rachel remains committed to service of the community as Member of the Arizona Commission for Trial Court Appointments, the Arizona Civil Rights Advisory Board, and Board Member of Sun Valley Charter School. Rachel also serves as the Chairperson of the Public Art Committee for the City of Phoenix Arts and Culture Commissioner, a Commissioner for the City of Phoenix’s Arts and Culture Commission, and a Member of the City of Phoenix’s Central City (Downtown Phoenix) Village Planning Committee.
Previously, Rachel has served as a Board Member of the Women’s Metropolitan Arts Council (a support organization for the Phoenix Art Museum), and a Fiesta Bowl Ambassador. Rachel is the former Co-Chair of the State Bar of Arizona’s Communications Committee, Member of the State Bar of Arizona’s Standing Appointments Committee and volunteer for the Family Lawyers Assistance Program.
Even in her free time Rachel can’t help but be an innovative leader. Rachel has produced two award-winning theatrical productions, Letters From Zora and Dreaming of Harlem Under A High Southern Sky. Rachel has future entertainment projects in the works.
