A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Purdue University (go Boilers!), and Chicago-Kent School of Law, Robin is an experienced litigator and advocate for those who cannot fight for themselves or who have been substantially wronged. She represents individuals who have been severely injured due to the negligence of others, employees who have been harassed or discriminated against or who have been denied wages by an employer, individuals who have endured police brutality or civil rights violations, those charged with crimes who are facing serious consequences, and others who genuinely need someone to fight for them.

Robin has a feel for what is just and what not. Her favorite saying as a kid was “it’s not fair”–which led her mother to encourage her to become a lawyer. After her mom passed away, Robin was called to jury duty on her mom’s birthday and thought it was fascinating, while others complained. She saw it as a sign to go to law school. She then worked full time at The Times newspaper, while attending law school at night for four years.

She took the IL and IN bar exams one week apart…passing them both. She then went to work for a prominent NWIN firm for five years, before starting her own practice while raising two infants at the time, and two large dogs–a malamute and husky! She understands life’s twists and turns and tragedies, and triumphs….and she listens to her clients and can empathize with them, in a way many others cannot.

She will regularly take unique, complex cases that other attorneys will not tackle…if she feels there is a wrong that needs to be set right. She has had some of her greatest legal successes with cases that were turned down by multiple attorneys.

In the last several years, Robin was named one of the top 3 most influential female attorneys in NW Indiana. in 2000 she was named one of the best attorneys by The Times.

Robin currently resides in NW Indiana with her two teenage daughters, and her Goldendoodle, Tanner, and a lucky stray who jumped in her car one day–“Baby.” When she isn’t practicing law, she travels as much as she can to as many interesting places as possible.
