Ms. Barghout is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of San Diego, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in 2002. She also graduated magna cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2009, earning her Juris Doctorate. Ms. Barghout has been a member of the California State Bar since 2009.
Ms. Barghout is the founder of Barghout Law Group, A.P.C. in San Diego where she has been practicing for nearly a decade as the Managing Attorney. She served as an Associate at the Law Offices of Briggs and Alexander in Anaheim, CA, from 2009 to 2013, focusing on business transactions and civil litigation and also served as a Reserve Deputy City Attorney at the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney in Los Angeles, CA, from 2013 to 2014, where she tried misdemeanor cases.
During her legal education, Ms. Barghout excelled academically, earning Book Awards in key subjects such as Contracts I, Torts II, Research and Writing, and Advanced Writing. She was also an Associate Editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, showcasing her commitment to legal scholarship and writing. Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Barghout is actively involved in community outreach efforts. She has volunteered with organizations such as the Public Law Center in Orange County and Catholic Charities’ Refugee and Immigration Services in San Diego, demonstrating her dedication to serving the community and making a positive impact beyond the courtroom.
