Sebastian M. Bio began his undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina Charlotte and completed it at Seton Hall University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Finance. Thereafter, he attained his Juris Doctorate at the Capital University School of Law in Columbus, Ohio.

He began his legal career in 1990 at the Law Office of Picillo, Bromberg and Caruso in Fairfield NJ where he managed toxic tort defense files. In 1991 he opened the Law Offices of Sebastian M. Bio in Orange New Jersey where he decided to concentrate his efforts on Criminal Defense. In the year 2000, the firm name changed to Bio and Laracca, P.C. with the addition of Marco A. Laracca.

Sebastian is an experienced civil and criminal litigator with extensive trial experience in Federal, State and Municipal Court. Sebastian has tried over fifty criminal jury trials, many of them homicides, to conclusion and disposed in excess of one thousand criminal matters in both Superior and Municipal Court over his 26 year career. On more than one occasion, Sebastian has been asked to lecture at various events sponsored by The Institute for Continuing Legal Education on subjects pertaining to Criminal Trial issues such as cross examination, trial preparation and the unexpected circumstances that arise during trials.
