After Graduating from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, Ms. Veiga moved to Las Vegas with her daughter to pursue her legal career. Ms. Veiga began to work as a law clerk for a small firm specializing in Personal Injury. When she was admitted in the State Bar of Nevada, she became an associate with the firm. Working in a small firm provided Ms. Veiga with invaluable courtroom experience.

Ms. Veiga later joined a small firm specializing in Family Law cases. Ms. Veiga discovered that family law was her passion and continued to practice law in the area of family law exclusively. Ms. Veiga has experience, both in motion practice and trial litigation.

Ms.Veiga also worked as an associate at the prestigious Family Law Firm of Jimmerson Hansen. As a result of her employment, at the Jimmerson Hansen law firm, Ms. Veiga handled very complex divorce matters. After several years of working for Mr. Jimmerson, Ms. Veiga established her own firm. Ms. Veiga’s goal is to maintain a small firm that gives the client a sense of personal service.

Ms. Veiga has received various awards for her Pro Bono work with Clark County Legal Services.
