Thomas Dougherty is a native of Greenwich, Connecticut and third generation attorney.  He graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in accounting. Mr. Dougherty earned his Juris Doctorate degree, Cum Laude, from Nova University in 1992.

 Subsequent to graduation from CCSU, he embarked on a varied career in both the public and private sector.  Mr. Dougherty’s experience has been gleaned from the high tech field to the construction industry and he is a former certified building inspector.  Mr. Dougherty has been involved in most every aspect of business operation.

At Nova University, he graduated near the top of his class, earned Dean’s List in five of six semesters, earned a Certificate of Academic Excellence, and was a member of Law Review.  Within only two years of being admitted to the bar, he became a partner with Altman & Greer, an “AV” rated firm in Lake Worth, Florida.   In addition to his private practice, Mr. Dougherty serves as a Special Magistrate for Palm Beach County Code Enforcement.  Mr. Dougherty’s has more than 24 years of experience assisting client’s in various matters including: civil litigation; family law; probate and estate planning; mortgage foreclosure; construction litigation; contract law; real property law; personal injury; and general business consulting.

Mr. Dougherty is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
