Tom Trask was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Frostburg, Maryland. He received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in Business Management and Economics. He earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with honors. During this time, he also served as an Executive Lieutenant Governor for the law student division of the American Bar Association.

Tom is a graduate of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College which is considered to be the most renowned and selective trial advocacy school in the country. Tom has achieved the highest Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbel of AV; the highest possible rating that can be given by alike colleagues. In addition, Tom has been selected as a member of the National Trial Lawyers’ Top 100 Trial Lawyers.

Tom represents plaintiffs in a myriad of personal injury and wrongful death cases. Tom has worked with plaintiffs in fighting for their rightful victories in medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, trucking accidents, automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, bus accidents, products liability, premises liability, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and paralysis and more. Trask has handled cases throughout the State of Georgia in both state and federal courts as well as on appeal before the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Tom is an active member of a variety of legal associations such as the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, Atlanta Bar Association, Lawyers Club of Atlanta, and the State Bar of Georgia. He is also dedicated to his philanthropic endeavors and has raised money for several charities such as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
